Engineering Teamwork Lab is a community for researchers who work on solving complex sociotechnical problems and focus on systems. Teamwork across boundaries is necessary to solve complex sociotechnical problems. We adopt systems thinking as a communication base and develops and tests hi-tech teamwork environments.
History
- November 2014: The joint collaboration between the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences (GSFS), UTokyo and MIT System Design & Management (SDM) was selected as part of the strategic partnerships in the Top Global University Project (until March 2017).
- February 2015: Global Teamwork Lab was established.
- May 2015: Bryan Moser was appointed Project Associate Professor, GSFS.
- October 2016: Four companies joined the first pilot of the GTL professional education program.
- April 2017: Second phase of the strategic partnerships in the Top Global University Project (until March 2021).
- October 2017: Six companies participated in the GSFS professional education program.
- October 2018: Five companies participated in the GSFS professional education program.
- October 2019: The GSFS professional education program was launched.
